IISWMSVC_STARTUP_UNABLE_TO_READ_CERTIFICATE

Error IISWMSVC_STARTUP_UNABLE_TO_READ_CERTIFICATE while installaing MSDEPLOY on win 2008 R2.

The error occurred as web management service was not running.

On starting web management service another error was came up; SSL Certificate that web management service uses is missing.

To overcome the issue follow the steps :

1. Open IIS, Select Connections pane select the server you want to manage.
2. In Feature view select Management Service
3. Under SSL Certificate, select the certificate.     Note: SSL certificates name usually starts with (WMsvc) 
4. Add the IIS certificate you selected earlier in Personal store, copy it from Root Store.
5. Now start the web management service and install MSDeploy
